The company was founded eight years ago by Marion and Bernard Eberlein and together with the friendly and dedicated staff, has become one of Canada's leading, most versatile and reliable eco-adventure outfits. The trips and the company have been featured in many magazines and travel guides: National Geographic, Orcas of Canada's West Coast, the German Adventure Travel Magazine and many more.

Coastal Spirits has a perfect safety record. Tours are conducted according to the British Columbia's high safety standards. Our local Vancouver Island guides are skilled and trained naturalists, with many years guiding experience in West Coast waters. They are also trained in Wilderness First Aid. Our skippers are coast guard licensed captains with many years experience in West Coast waters.
